This March, Hog Roast Bangor is catering for a charity 10k race taking place in North Wales. The event has been organised to raise money for a great cause, with hundreds of people expected to run, walk, jog, skip, or hop to the finish line! At the finish line, Hog Roast Bangor will be stationed with a delicious hog roast for participants and spectators to enjoy, which will be well-needed after so much hard work. For the menu, we have been hired to serve a classic hog roast, since it is a simple yet delicious menu and can easily be served to large crowds, which is expected at this event.
In preparation for race day, Hog Roast Bangor will arrive at our spot in the morning to give us plenty of time to prepare all of the dishes on-site. We will start with the hog, which will need around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, to create a balanced and delicious buffet lunch.
