Last weekend, catering manager Paul took the reigns on one couple’s big day that they had been planning for over a year and after adjusting the menu to suit the client’s needs, it was time to celebrate. Arriving at Bach Wen Farm and Cottages, a tranquil and picturesque site which overlooks the stunning Caernarfon Bay, the Hog Roast Caernarfon team quickly threw themselves into preparing for the early afternoon serving time while the happy couple were busy tying the knot. Banding together, the crew pitched the gazebo and used our lightweight and portable equipment to begin slow-roasting the locally sourced free-range chickens which were paired with gluten and dairy-free sage and onion stuffing, grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers and served on real crockery.
Before long, the newlyweds arrived at the reception venue to celebrate the beginning of their new lives together as a married couple, and were closely followed by their 100 guests who were keen to dig into the delicious food that they had heard so much about in the run-up to the big day. After filling their plates, the guests made their way into the rusticly-decorated marquee which featured wooden picnic benches, pastel bunting and minimalistic centrepieces chosen by the loved-up pair.
We’re pleased to share that the wedding buffet was a huge hit among guests, and the bride and groom couldn’t have been happier with the hands-on service and mouth-watering menu that the Hog Roast Caernarfon provided on their special day. Fortunately for everyone involved, the weather was on its best behaviour and the cluster of grey skies that threatened a potential downpour didn’t come to anything which allowed for some beautiful wedding photos.
