April saw us attend a thirtieth birthday party in Pensby for Pat, whose son was celebrating his special birthday. The event was small but a very happy one with the hosts watching the hog roast Pensby being spiked prior to the spit roasting beginning and when the serve time approached we then freshly prepared all salads and potato options to compliment the hog. Service started with a celebratory toast to the birthday boy which we served and then all guests enjoyed the main event . As the numbers were small the rest of the hog was carved and given to the the host. When the guests had eaten their fill hog roast Pensby cleared the away discreetly to leave everyone to enjoy the remainder of the evening.
