Last week our head Ste and the Hog Roast Anglesey team had the pleasure of joining Helen and friend and family group to celebrate her birthday her in Anglesey. While the weather did not quite get the memo out about the celebration, coming grey and overcast rather than lovely and sunny as hoped, the Hog Roast Anglesey team made sure to bring the heat in lieu of the sun.
How did we do so? Through our smoky and spicy southern slow roast menu, of course! If the weather wasn’t going to play along, we were still going to make the very best out of the day by delivering plenty flavour, colour, and heat in our extra special menu offering.
This was an event that we had a really great time at. With about 20 guests it is on the smaller, more intimate side of our typical event services, but that meant that the celebration felt all the more special and positive. The atmosphere was a delight to be a part of; plenty of love and joy flowing through the smaller celebration, with friends and family all united for one cause and person: Helen. Helen herself, of course, was an absolute joy to cater for, making Ste and our Hog Roast Anglesey team feel instantly welcome amongst the celebrations.
Of course, perhaps that’s because we were the ones bringing the food – so of course we were going to be made to feel welc
ome indeed! Because when you have a menu offering as good as our southern slow roast, everyone is going to want to get you a little better!
We’re only kidding, of course. It was a treat all the same to cater for Helen and co. As for what was on the menu, well let us tell you! If the weather wasn’t going to be warm, our hot and spicy Cajun chickens had all the heat required, while our BBQ pork butt and minted quarter of pulled lamb provided plenty more flavour on top. We also had our grilled veg and halloumi skewers as a veggie option, cooling Greek salad, buttered corn cobettes, seasonal veg, and sweet potato fries as our accompanying sides.
An excellent menu for a wonderful group of people. Our thanks for choosing Hog Roast Anglesey!
