Hog Roast Llanberis Catering for a 30th Wedding Anniversary!

The longer strict lockdown measures went on, the more Andy and Chrissy began to feel that their big 30th wedding anniversary bash wasn’t going to happen. But just as they were on the verge of cancelling it, they heard the good news that small gatherings could take place again. Whilst this required a re-think of their event, as well as seriously cutting down their guest list, they and their children were still very happy that it could go ahead after all. They put aside what they initially had in mind and decided to host their anniversary party in their own back garden for a much smaller number of their nearest and dearest. With it being their special day, they wanted to enjoy themselves and didn’t want the hassle of having to do the catering themselves. This left them with a dilemma – where could they find a catering company who could give them a lovely buffet on their own premises whilst ensuring social distancing and safety measures were in place at all times? The answer came to them after making an enquiry to us here at Hog Roast Llanberis! Yes, we had to make a few alterations to our service methods in order to adhere to current regulations, but when it came to rustling up a delicious freshly made buffet filled with their favourite dishes, it was business as usual!

Andy and Chrissy were delighted with everything we told them about our approach and even more delighted when they saw our menus! They wanted some of our legendary slow roasted pork to be the star of the show food-wise whilst also requiring an inventive vegetarian alternative and some flavoursome freshly made side dishes for their guests to enjoy, including jacket wedges, creamy coleslaw, fragrant crispy Thai salad and cous cous.

The Hog Roast Llanberis team operated with ease whilst following all of the safety measures that we needed to, and we were ready to serve a beautifully presented buffet right on time! Andy and Chrissy had a lovely evening celebrating 30 years together with a small number of their family and friends, and they were very grateful to the Hog Roast Llanberis team for helping them to make it happen!
