When it comes to your wedding catering, there are aspects to consider beyond just the foods you pick. At Hog Roast Saint Asaph, we always look at catering for your wedding as an opportunity to do more; it can set a tone, create an atmosphere, state a vibe that the rest of your special day will follow.
Now how do foods do that exactly, you ask? Well allow us to show you with an example from this very weekend just past, as the Hog Roast Saint Asaph team headed out to the wonderful wedding celebration of Kim and Adam at Wigfair Hall.
Our goal for the day was to bring some colour and comfort into the day. For a summer wedding you quite often what the dining to really pop; it’s a wedding, so there should be a good bit of colour and vibrancy to the day. To set things off, then, we began with our antipasti grazing table. With our antipasti grazing table, guests have something to pick from right as they enter into the reception. They’ve got fine Italian meats and cheeses to enjoy with artisanal breads and salad items. It’s light and delicious – just what you want to keep guests going until the main dinner. But as well as being a good starter, it also pops as a visual welcome for guests. With the mix of reds, yellows, greens, from the meats, cheeses, and salads, there is a tonne of colour beautifully arranged on our grazing table. So often guests will stop just to take photos of the table, often not wanting to actually be the first to dive in for fear of ruining the arrangement. But this is Hog Roast Saint Asaph, so we’ll always encourage you just to get on in there and start enjoying.
Then came our main event – the hog roast. This is the comfort. Hand pulled and brimming with tender meatiness and crisp texture, it’s an easy grab with a roll or wrap, but it is no less dlecious or special for you wedding because of that. Served with stuffing, crackling, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, fries and salad, it brings a tonne of comfort to your special day, as it did so at Wigfair Hall for Kim and Adam!
