Recently, our catering manager Alan was contacted about providing a delicious menu for a 50th birthday party in Spring View. Our client was looking for a menu that would be suitable for 100 guests served buffet style, including a meat-free alternative. The event was taking place at a local Sports and Social Club, which would be set up for a 21:15 mealtime. After discussing the catering options that we can provide, it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu would be the perfect choice for the occasion.

On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Prestatyn team arrived in advance to prepare and cook the dishes. We began by slow-roasting the hog, ensuring that it was cooked to perfection when expertly carved by our chef. The meat was served with fresh bread rolls, including a gluten-free option, as well as sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce. For meat-free guests, we prepared our delicious grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Alongside the main dishes, we also prepared tomato and mozzarella salad and new potatoes, creating a deliciously balanced meal.

The menu was served buffet style on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery, which was the perfect level of formality for the event. We had a lot of fun providing this catering and it was great to be part of such a wonderful celebration!
