As our name suggests, Spitting Pig North Wales provides scrumptious hog roasts all over the north of our great country, so you may be surprised to find out that we can actually do so much more. If you’re planning an event or party, whatever the occasion, we can cater for you formally or informally, for any number of people and in any kind of location but more importantly, we can provide a huge variety of food choices.
If you fancy a lovely hog roast, we can easily do this, whether you’re after pigs in buns or a plate of meat, veg, and potatoes – either way, we cook the meat from scratch at your venue and serve after hours of it sizzling away. You may prefer a different kind of animal or some poultry to be spit-roasted on-site instead, like lamb, beef, chicken or turkey, or you may want something completely different like whole salmon or a vegan or gluten-free option. We can do it all and much more.
When Rebecca contacted Hog Roast North Wales to provide the catering for her event in the lovely village of Trefnant in Denbighshire, she asked us for a very interesting menu choice and one that we were looking forward to supplying. We would be cooking sticky ribs, Cajun chicken and BBQ pork for 60 guests, with halloumi skewers too, for the veggie guests. We have many choices for vegetarians and vegans, as even if you can’t enjoy our meat, we still want you to enjoy our food. The same goes for those guests with other dietary requirements such as gluten-free or dairy-free – with advance notice, we will endeavour to do our utmost to ensure everyone is happy with their food on the day of the event.
The Hog Roast North Wales team thoroughly enjoyed cooking the ribs, chicken, and pork for this party, as even though hog and spit roasts are clearly our specialities, we are experienced in and qualified to cook much more and it’s always good to have a change in cooking style every now and again. All of the food went down well with Rebecca’s guests, including the veggie option, which we are always glad to hear.
