This month we were happy to cater for a wedding anniversary near Froncysyllte. As you can see from the pictures the preferred choice to accompany our free range spit roasted hog roast in Froncysyllte was seasonal vegetables which were readily received and enjoyed by everyone present, especially as the weather has turned colder than it has been – a sure sign autumn is well and truly here. The vegetables we served were cauliflower cheese, carrots and mange tout, long green beans and hot new potatoes in herb butter which made a hearty plateful, all served with a five inch floured bread roll full of succulent pork, sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce and of course crispy crackling. A great hog roast in Froncysyllte.
