Each year Pat hosts a dinner at her home in North Wales to celebrate the Easter weekend. The bank holiday means that most of her children and grandchildren are free from school and work, which makes it the ideal time to host a gathering and enjoy an afternoon together. To leave her free to enjoy time with her family, Pat has hired Hog Roast Bangor to cater for the occasion for the last few years. On the day of the catering, the Hog Roast Bangor team arrived at Pat’s home in the morning and got to work on preparing our menu. We began by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection, which took around five hours. Once ready, the succulent meat was expertly carved by our chef and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provided plant-based sausages to ensure that there was a main dish for everyone to enjoy. The mains were served with roasted baby potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich homemade gravy, which created the perfect well-rounded lunchtime buffet. Our catering was perfect for the occasion and was enjoyed by the whole family, with everyone enjoying a second serving!
