ouldn’t be happier to be in the thick of it, enhancing local gatherings with our top-notch meal plans. Just last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending a village spring fete, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast from start to finish! Arriving on-site bright and early, our catering manager, Terry, and the team wasted no time in getting to work on the main attraction: the hog roast. As the savoury scent of slow-roasting pork began to permeate the air, the surroundings came to life.
Other vendors set up their stalls, offering an array of artisanal delights, from handmade toys and recycled gifts to luxurious bath bombs, hair accessories, crystals, and tarot cards. For our fellow foodies there were plenty of gourmet treats available to purchase, like handmade fudge, olives, freshly baked donuts and chocolate-smothered churros.Before we knew it, the village fete was abuzz with activity, as families, couples, and friends gathered to soak up the lively atmosphere. Tribute acts provided a soundtrack of nostalgia, while an Easter egg trail kept the little ones entertained for hours on end. But amidst all the excitement, there was one queue that remained consistently busy throughout the day: the line at Hog Roast Church Bay’s stall.
With eager anticipation, event-goers eagerly awaited their turn to sample our mouthwatering hog roast rolls. Packed with tender pork, sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and tarte applesauce, each bite was a flavour explosion that left taste buds tingling with delightAs the day drew to a close, and the last of the hog roast rolls disappeared into satisfied stomachs, we couldn’t help but reflect on the joy of being a part of such a vibrant community event.
