Where do you prepare our food?
Hog Roast Gaerwen prepare all of your food on-site. This can be done indoors or outdoors, depending on your venue and the space you have available. On the day of the event, we arrive well in advance to cook and prepare every dish. Preparation time varies based on the dishes you have chosen, with an average-sized hog taking approximately 4-6 hours to cook.
What tableware will our food be served on?
This is up to you and often depends on the formality of your event. For formal events we can provide crockery and silverware for your guests to eat from. Otherwise we can offer bamboo plates and cutlery. Both of these options look great!
What happens once the catering is complete?
Once your catering is complete, Hog Roast Gaerwen will begin to clear away our rubbish, equipment and machinery. Clearing away takes place discretely, allowing your event to continue as planned without disruptions. We always make sure to leave your venue in the same way we found it, removing all of our rubbish and waste.
How soon should I book my catering?
We recommend booking your catering as soon as you know the details of your event. All we need to know is your location, date and party size and we can get you booked in. Our dairy is open well in advance, but it can fill up fast, especially with the current backlog of events due to COVID-19.
